“ The food is so incredibly good! I love especially the Korean spicy pork bulgogi I crave it all the time because it’s the perfect spice for me! The pho is also great for sick days or cold days like now. The owners are so nice and always greet me with a warm smile. I cannot wait to go back already and experience new things on the menu! ”
“ Such a healthy and delicious bowl of bimbimbap. Writing the review as I enjoy this. Love the marinated crunchy carrots and mushrooms. Beansprouts lovely too. The spicy sauce goes so well with it all Beef well marinated and very flavourful. Rice cooked perfectly. Everything was done to perfection The guy even took the plate to where I sat. Didn't expect that. So glad I chose this place in the food hall. Highly recommended! ”
“ As an Asian I really liked their pho, mostly because of the quality for the price which was reasonable. At this small restaurant inside the Pizitz Food Hall where you can get global bites from different restaurants and drinks, I’d expect higher food price but nope! I was excited to see Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese offerings in one place at Pho Pho. I usually take caution when more than two ethnic cuisines are offered at the same time but honestly I think this place works. The staff is friendly and I enjoyed my experience. The atmosphere is not for your special date out but that’s expected for a food hall. ”
“ Amazing restaurant and location at the pizits food hall. The food hall for one is very comfortable and a great place to eat lunch, with easy and free parking and Pho Pho is my favorite out of every restaurant, because of their super friendly service, amazing beef pho and tonkotsu ramen! I have been eating ramen and pho since i was very young, and Pho Pho is definitely the best of the best. The bibimbap is also delicious! I come at least once a week, and am happy every time! I highly recommend. Thanks Pho Pho! ”
“ I tried new tornado potato and Binsu (shaved ice). Tornado potato sauce is super good, tastes like cheese garlic. Binsu was good too. I ordered berry Binsu. It was milk-based. ”
“ This location has gone through many different owners over the years, but Pho Pho is probably the best yet! The food was delicious and the service was great! They were respectful of our lunch hour and they validate any thing over 1 if you park in the nearby public parking deck. Can't wait to go back and try the sushi! ”
“ This place has the best tasting Pho in Birmingham. The Pho is very fresh and you can taste each ingredient. Most other Pho places in town have a greasy broth that over powers the other flavors. Very casual atmosphere and a great place for a quiet meal. ”
“ Snuck away from my coworkers, who don't have my passion for Vietnamese food. I didn't look at the ratings for Pho Pho, I kind of wanted to go and give it its own chance to make an impression. I walked away impressed. Food: ordered a P1 - Pho with rare beef and a few pieces of nigiri (himachi and taco). Both arrived looking fresh and at appropriate temperatures. Honestly, they looked exactly the way I'd hoped they would. Pho depends on its broth to succeed or fail as a dish. The pho at Pho Pho had a rich, aromatic broth that stood up well to the fresh lime and sliced jalapeno. There was a good balance of broth, noodles, beef, onions (served on top of the beef in the bowl), sprouts, jalapenos, and basil. I might have wanted another slice or two of lime, but requesting it would have made me set my book aside. The sushi was clean, fresh, cold, and had great flavor. It was suitably sized for the price charged and plated attractively. I would have liked to see mackerel on the menu, but I would much rather it not appear on the menu, than it be served less than fresh. Service: without being obtrusive, the staff visited me to check in every couple of minutes and genuinely gave the impression that my satisfaction was important. Restaurant: the entire interior of the restaurant consists of natural wood, high-contrast colors (red, white, and black), and gave an immediate impression of cleanliness and sophistication. I have no illusions of sophistication, but the interior never made me feel uncomfortable or out of place. It is probably one of the most attractive restaurants in the Five Points area, even if it appears subdued from the street. Overall: I have no concerns recommending Pho Pho and I will have to figure out how to slip free of my friends, again, if I can't convince them to try it. ”
